1. About Ready for Remedy

Ready for Remedy provides educational information, resources, and tools designed to help people explore what services may be available to them, understand their options, and connect with an appropriate specialist or provider. Our site offers plain-language education, self-guided assessments and checklists, referral information, and related resources.

Some of the services, programs, or providers that are promoted or introduced through Ready for Remedy are not operated by us. They are independent third parties that deliver their own services under their own terms, and they are not employees, agents, or staff of Ready for Remedy. Where we describe or introduce one of them, we do so for educational and connection purposes only.

Ready for Remedy provides general information and connection assistance. We do not provide tax, legal, accounting, financial, medical, or other professional advice, we do not guarantee any outcome, and nothing on the Website is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: what you choose to give us, what our systems record when you use the Website, and what we receive from the parties that help us operate the service. Each category is described below. We describe only collection that is actually taking place.

2.1 Information You Provide

When you interact with the Website, you may provide the following:

• First and last name.
• Email address.
• Telephone number, if you choose to provide one.
• Information entered into questionnaires or intake forms, such as selections you make and details you type into a form.
• Your areas of interest, including the topic or the kind of service or provider you are exploring.
• Your questions, comments, notes, or descriptions of your situation, in whatever form you choose to share them.
• Communications you send us through website forms, email, telephone, Messenger, or other channels we support.
• Consent and preference records, including the fact that you consented, the date and time consent was given, and any communication preferences you have set.
• Referral or connection request information, including the specialist, provider, program, or type of service you asked us to connect you with.
• Payment and billing information, only if Ready for Remedy later offers paid services. If that happens, payment card information is typically handled by a third-party payment processor rather than stored directly by Ready for Remedy, and we would describe that arrangement here before it begins.

Where those details go depends on which form you use, and we want to be plain about it:

• The initial start form sends an email notification to hello@readyforremedy.com so we can recognize and respond to your inquiry, and it does not create a persistent CRM customer record from that submission. During the multi-step process, limited information you enter on the connection form, meaning your name and email address, may be stored temporarily in your browser’s session storage so that your entries can carry between pages. This temporary browser storage is used for the assessment and connection workflow, is cleared when the workflow is completed, and also ends when the applicable browser tab or session ends. See Section 8 for more about this storage.
• Both forms record your agreement to the Terms of Service and your acknowledgment of this Privacy Policy against the version of those documents that was on screen when you submitted, with the date and time of your submission. That record is kept separately from the information you typed.
• The connection form stores the details you submit, meaning your first name, last name, email address, telephone number, interest selection, any notes you typed, the referral and consent flag, and the date and time consent was given, in Ready for Remedy’s private customer relationship management (CRM) database. That database is kept outside of public web access: server rules prevent it from being browsed, indexed, or downloaded through the web. The CRM uses contact information and internal matching rules to identify existing customer records, associate related lead and referral activity, and help prevent duplicate records.

The Website does not place personal information in the addresses of its pages, and it does not pass your contact details to a referral destination through a link. When you ask us to connect you with a specialist or provider, Ready for Remedy shares the relevant information directly with that party, as described in Section 4.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website, standard technical information may be recorded automatically by our hosting environment and web server logs, such as:

• Your IP address
• Device type and browser type
• Operating system
• The referring URL, meaning the page that led you to the site
• Pages viewed
• Timestamps of your visit and activity
• General usage and click information
• Cookies and similar technologies, where they are used (see Section 8)

This information is used to operate, secure, and maintain the Website, and to understand in general terms how the site is used. We do not describe any collection mechanism here that is not actually in place, and we do not collect information through means not listed in this section.

2.3 Information From Other Sources

Ready for Remedy may receive information from the following sources, but only to the extent it is necessary to operate and improve the service:

• Referral partners who send us an inquiry or a request on your behalf
• Service providers who host, secure, or support the Website and the systems behind it
• Forms, integrations, and embedded tools used on the Website
• CRM systems that hold records you have given us
• Analytics services, where they are used
• Communication providers that deliver email or other messages you have requested

We do not purchase mailing lists, and we do not obtain information from data brokers.

2.4 Information We Do Not Ask For

Please do not submit sensitive personal information through any form on the Website. We do not request, and you should not provide:

• Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, or dates of birth
• Tax returns, tax records, income amounts, withholding amounts, notice numbers, or account numbers
• Identity documents, uploaded files, or copies of correspondence with any agency
• Payment card or bank account information (we do not process payments on the Website today)

Email is not a secure channel. If you contact us by email, avoid including sensitive tax, legal, medical, or financial information unless you understand and accept that risk.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described in Section 2 for the following purposes:

• Provide the educational resources and information you have requested
• Respond to your inquiries, questions, and messages
• Maintain contact and lead records so we can recognize you and serve a follow-up request
• Understand in general terms what users are looking for, so the site can be more useful
• Connect you with an appropriate specialist or provider when you have asked us to
• Manage referrals, including following up on a connection to see whether you need anything further
• Communicate about the follow-up you requested
• Provide appointment or service-related information relevant to your request
• Improve the Website and the experience of moving through it
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Website and our systems
• Prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and misuse of the site and our forms
• Maintain records of your consent
• Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
• Enforce the terms that apply to the Website

Where we send marketing or promotional communications, we do so only where you have consented to them or where they are otherwise permitted, and you can stop them at any time as described in Sections 6 and 10.

In practical terms: the start form submission is used to generate the email notification that lets us respond to your inquiry, and the connection form submission is used to create and maintain your record in our CRM, together with the lead and referral history needed to complete the connection you asked for. We do not use your information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. How Information May Be Shared

We share information only as described in this section. We do not share your information with anyone simply because it is available to us.

4.1 Specialists and Referral Partners

This is the most important sharing practice on the Website, and it always starts with an affirmative request from you. When you ask Ready for Remedy to connect you with a specialist, provider, educational program, or referral partner, we may share the information reasonably necessary to fulfill that request. Depending on what the party needs in order to contact or serve you, that may include:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your telephone number
• Your area of interest, or the service or provider type you asked about
• The specific information you provided for the referral

We share this information for one purpose: to complete the connection you requested. We do not share it for any other purpose, and we do not pass your contact details to a referral destination through a link or page address. The specialist or provider you are connected with is then responsible for handling your information under their own privacy practices, which is why we encourage you to review those before you share anything sensitive.

Ready for Remedy may receive referral or affiliate compensation from certain providers when a person we introduce purchases or engages their products or services. That compensation relates to the referral or resulting transaction, not to the personal information itself. Material compensation relationships are disclosed near relevant recommendations and are also described in our Affiliate Disclosure.

4.2 Service Providers

We may share information with vendors who provide services to Ready for Remedy, such as:

• Hosting and infrastructure
• CRM and database services
• Email delivery and communications
• Analytics, where used
• Security and fraud prevention
• Form handling and intake
• Scheduling
• Payment processing, if paid services are ever offered
• Automation of routine business tasks

Service providers are expected to use information only as necessary to perform the services they provide to Ready for Remedy and are subject to the contractual or legal requirements applicable to their relationship with us. If you would like to know which categories of provider are in place at any time, ask us and we will tell you.

4.3 Legal and Security Requirements

We may disclose information where we reasonably believe it is required or necessary: to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ready for Remedy, our visitors, or others; to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or to enforce our Terms of Service. Where we are permitted to do so, we will tell you about the disclosure and its scope.

4.4 Business Changes

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets. In that event, we will require the recipient to handle your information in a way consistent with this Privacy Policy, unless it provides you with notice and a chance to object before your information is handled differently. If a change of this kind materially alters how your information is used, we will update this policy and revise the “Last Updated” date.

4.5 With Your Permission

We may also share information for other purposes where you have specifically authorized it, for example by telling us in writing that you are happy for us to pass your details to a particular provider or for a particular purpose. Where you have given permission for one purpose, we do not treat it as permission for another.

5. No Sale of Personal Information

Ready for Remedy does not operate a business of selling personal information. We may receive referral or affiliate compensation when a person we introduce to an independent provider later purchases or engages a product or service. That compensation relates to the referral or resulting transaction. Personal information is shared only as described in this Policy and in connection with the request or authorization made by the individual. We do not purchase mailing lists.

We are not asking you to take on trust a broader statement about the legal definitions of “sale” or “sharing” used in certain state privacy laws. Those definitions depend on the specific analytics, advertising, and data flows in place, and we would rather be accurate than sweeping. We do not treat an authorized provider referral as a sale of your personal information. If our arrangements change in a way that makes such a statement relevant, we will add it to this policy instead of leaving it implied.

We do not use the Website to build advertising profiles, and we do not send you advertising on the basis of information collected here.

6. Email Communications

There are two kinds of email, and we treat them differently.

6.1 Transactional and Requested Messages

When you give us your email address or ask us to contact you, we may send messages needed to complete what you asked for: your requested information or resources, a referral result, appointment or service-related details, a follow-up about a connection we made on your behalf, or a reply to your inquiry. These messages are not marketing, and we will still send them after you unsubscribe from marketing.

6.2 Marketing Messages

Where we send marketing or promotional email, we do so only where you have consented or where it is otherwise permitted. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe mechanism, and you may also opt out at any time by writing to hello@readyforremedy.com with the subject line “Unsubscribe.”

Unsubscribe applies to marketing email. It does not remove you from messages you have asked us to send, from records we are required to keep, or from security notices about your own information.

As noted in Section 2.4, email is not a secure channel. Please do not send sensitive tax, legal, medical, or financial information by email unless you understand and accept the risk.

7. SMS / Telephone Communications

Ready for Remedy does not currently operate a marketing text message (SMS) program. What we do today is narrower, and this section describes only that:

• If you provide a telephone number and ask to be contacted, Ready for Remedy or an authorized specialist or provider may use that number to follow up on the request you made, or to pass the number on to the party fulfilling your request as described in Section 4.
• If Ready for Remedy later offers marketing SMS, we will obtain the separate affirmative consent required in your jurisdiction before sending any marketing message, and we will describe the program and its terms in this policy before it begins.
• Where a marketing SMS program does run, consent to receive marketing texts is never a condition of purchase or of any service.
• If SMS programs are ever introduced, the messaging terms required for them, including how to send STOP and HELP, will be added to this policy as a separate set of terms rather than folded into this section.

8. Cookies / Tracking

Ready for Remedy uses only limited technologies that are needed to serve the site reliably. Cookies and similar technologies may be set by our hosting environment or by the site itself for the following purposes:

• Necessary operation. Storage that is strictly required to serve pages, remember basic settings, keep the site secure, and support the forms you use. This includes your browser’s session storage, which temporarily holds the name and email address you type on the connection form so your entries can carry between pages of the workflow. It is cleared when the workflow completes and when the applicable browser tab or session ends. It is necessary temporary browser storage, not advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not set marketing cookies.
• Site measurement. Where analytics cookies are in use, they tell us in general terms which pages are visited and how the site performs, so we can fix what is broken and improve what is confusing. We are not running an advertising or cross-site tracking system, and we do not set marketing cookies.

If additional categories of cookies or tracking are introduced in the future, we will update this section to describe them and, where required, obtain consent before they are set.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the Website functions. Details for any current tools are also explained in Section 2.2.

9. Data Retention

We do not keep information simply because we have it. We retain information only as long as it is reasonably necessary for one or more of the following purposes:

• Providing the services, resources, or connection you requested
• Maintaining your CRM record and the lead and referral history connected to it
• Keeping business, accounting, and transaction records
• Maintaining records of your consent
• Security, fraud prevention, and the investigation of misuse or incidents
• Meeting applicable legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations
• Resolving disputes or enforcing agreements with you or a third party

Concretely: information submitted through the connection form is kept in our CRM for as long as we need the referral history and the business record behind it; information submitted through the start form is retained in the email notification itself as correspondence; and server logs maintained by the hosting environment are kept on a rolling basis for security and operational purposes.

When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or de-identify it. Retention periods will differ by the kind of record, and a request to delete information does not override a retention period we are required to honor.

10. Privacy Choices / Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights in relation to your personal information. We extend the same handling to everyone who contacts us, and the rights that apply to you in particular depend on the jurisdiction you are in.

Depending on where you live, the choices available to you may include:

• Access. Request a copy of the personal information you have given us.
• Correction. Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Deletion. Ask us to delete information we hold about you, subject to any retention period that applies.
• Marketing preferences. Unsubscribe from marketing email or, where it exists, marketing text messages.
• Objection or restriction, where applicable, to certain uses of your information.
• Portability, where applicable, to receive certain information in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent, where our processing relies on your consent, by contacting us.

To exercise any of these choices, contact us at hello@readyforremedy.com from the email address you used, and describe what you are asking for. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we may ask for the information needed to locate your records, since our CRM identifies existing customer records using contact information and internal matching rules rather than keeping a single file per submission.

Where our processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, subject to information we may retain or process for legal, security, recordkeeping, fraud-prevention, contractual, or other permitted purposes.

You may also control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings (see Section 8).

11. Children

Ready for Remedy is intended for adults aged 18 and over. The Website and its services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from children or knowingly collect it from them.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Website, contact us at hello@readyforremedy.com and we will take appropriate steps to remove it from our CRM record and correspondence.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the information in our control. These include serving the site over encrypted connections, limiting who has access to the mailboxes and systems that receive form submissions, restricting access to CRM records to the people who need it for the purposes described in this policy, keeping the CRM database outside of public web access so that it cannot be browsed or downloaded through the web, and requiring our service providers to protect information on our behalf.

No method of transmission, storage, or security is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for the protection of your own email account and devices, and for not submitting sensitive information through the Website (see Section 2.4). If a breach affects your information, we will take appropriate steps to contain it and will notify affected people where we are required to do so.

13. Third-Party Websites / Providers

The Website may contain links to independent third parties, including specialists, providers, educational programs, and referral partners. Those sites are not operated by Ready for Remedy, and Ready for Remedy does not control how they collect, use, or protect information.

Each third party maintains its own terms of use and privacy policy, and those govern your use of their services. We encourage you to read a provider’s privacy policy before giving them any information, and to consider that you are dealing with that provider directly at that point.

When you leave Ready for Remedy, whether by following a link or by engaging an outside provider we have connected you with, that provider’s practices and policies apply from that moment on. Ready for Remedy is not responsible for the content, claims, or privacy practices of outside sites, and we do not control what a third party does with information you share with them.

14. International Users

Ready for Remedy is hosted and operated in the United States. If you access the Website from another country, you should understand that the information you provide may be processed, stored, and handled in the United States, including by service providers described in Section 4.2. Data-protection rules in the United States may differ from those that apply where you live.

If you do not want your information handled in the United States in this way, please do not submit it through the Website.

15. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Website, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy and, where the change is significant, provide additional notice before it takes effect.

We encourage you to return to this page periodically to see the current version. The revised Privacy Policy will apply from the effective date stated at the top of the page. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change in how we handle personal information, we will provide that notice or obtain that consent.
