Terms of Service

Terms of Service

1. Nature of Ready for Remedy Services

Ready for Remedy provides educational information, resources, intake tools, referral services, and connections with third-party specialists and providers. Part of what we do is introduce you to independent service providers who offer their own services.

Unless we expressly say otherwise for a specific service, Ready for Remedy itself is not acting as your attorney, CPA, accountant, tax preparer, or financial adviser, and nothing on this Website creates a professional, fiduciary, or agency relationship between you and Ready for Remedy. The educational materials here are general information. They are not a substitute for individualized advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

When we help you reach a specialist or provider, Ready for Remedy facilitates the connection. That specialist or provider performs its own services under its own qualifications, its own engagement terms, and its own scope of work, and it is the provider you engage for that work.

2. Eligibility

The Website and the services offered through it are intended for people who are at least 18 years old and who have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

By using the Website, submitting a form, or requesting a referral or connection, you represent that you meet these requirements and that your use complies with applicable law. If you are under 18, do not use the Website or request a connection.

3. Services

Ready for Remedy may offer the following, now or in the future:

Services can change. We may add, modify, pause, or discontinue any part of what we offer at any time, and we may change how a service is presented. Availability of a service is not a promise that it will always be available.

4. Specialists and Third-Party Providers

Specialists and providers you may be connected with through Ready for Remedy are independent third parties. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of Ready for Remedy, and Ready for Remedy does not control how they operate or what they charge for their own work. Receiving compensation from a provider does not change that relationship.

When you engage a specialist or provider, the following applies:

5. User Information and Referral Requests

When you submit a form or send us information, you represent that what you send is reasonably accurate and current, and that you have the right to share it.

When you affirmatively ask us to connect you with a specialist or provider and authorize us to share your details, we may send the relevant contact and intake information to that provider so the provider can respond to you. We share it for the purpose you asked for, and not as a general release to share it further.

Here is what our forms do with what you send, in plain terms:

Please do not send sensitive personal information through any form or by email. That means Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, dates of birth, tax returns, income or withholding figures, notice numbers, identity documents, bank information, card information, and similar records. We do not request this information through these forms. If you submit sensitive information that we did not request, we may delete, redact, or otherwise limit its retention where appropriate.

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Email is not a secure channel, so please do not put sensitive information in a message to us.

6. Fees, Payments, and Future Services

Prices displayed on the Website are informational unless they are expressly presented as part of an offer or checkout transaction. Before a paid Ready for Remedy service is purchased, the applicable price and material transaction terms will be presented to the purchaser.

If a refund, cancellation, or rescheduling policy is presented to you at checkout, that policy governs that transaction and controls over anything less specific on this page.

The current Website and the path from your first visit to a connection request do not include a purchase step. We may introduce a low-cost introductory service later. When we do, its price and terms will be shown to you before you commit to anything, and you can decide then whether it fits your situation.

Any fee Ready for Remedy charges is separate from anything a provider charges for its own services, and each is described by the party charging it. If Ready for Remedy introduces paid services, the applicable checkout terms and Privacy Policy will explain how payment information is processed before payment is submitted.

7. User Conduct

You agree to use the Website lawfully and in line with these Terms. You agree not to:

You are responsible for how you use the Website and for the information you send us.

8. Intellectual Property

The Website and its content, such as text, articles, written materials, graphics, illustrations, icons, layout and design, checklists, questionnaires, intake tools, and the Ready for Remedy name and branding, are owned by Ready for Remedy or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access the Website and to use, download, and print materials from it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. That license does not cover copying or redistributing content for republication, resale, or commercial use, creating derivative works, or removing attribution or ownership notices.

You do not acquire any ownership interest in the Website or in any Ready for Remedy name or mark. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.

9. Educational Information and No Guarantee of Outcome

The information, questionnaires, checklists, and resources on the Website are educational. They are designed to help you understand your situation, find the questions worth asking, explore the options available to you, and connect with resources that can help.

Nothing on this Website is a promise or guarantee of a result. We do not promise tax savings, debt elimination, a reduction in what you owe, an examination or audit outcome, a decision from any agency, a refund, a legal outcome, or a financial outcome. We do not promise any specific result from any provider we may connect you with.

Individual outcomes depend on your own facts and circumstances, the choices you make, the rules that apply at the time, and the services a provider actually performs. Decisions about your situation should be made with a qualified professional who can consider the details of your case.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The Website may link to, or send you to, independent websites and services, such as provider websites, payment processors, scheduling systems, and other tools used in the course of a referral, a connection, or a purchase.

Those third parties are not operated or controlled by Ready for Remedy. They have their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies, and you should review them before you give them information or sign up for anything. Ready for Remedy is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or conduct. The presence of a link by itself does not constitute an endorsement or approval of a third party. Where Ready for Remedy expressly recommends or promotes a provider, any material affiliate or referral relationship will be disclosed as described in Section 11 and our Affiliate Disclosure.

11. Affiliate and Referral Relationships

Some of the connections we offer are affiliate or referral relationships. If you purchase a product or service from, or engage a provider introduced through, one of these relationships, Ready for Remedy may receive a commission or other compensation.

That compensation does not, on its own, change your obligations to a provider. The amounts and terms that apply to you are the ones the provider discloses to you. It also does not mean Ready for Remedy controls a provider’s services, speaks for that provider, or makes the provider an employee, agent, or representative of Ready for Remedy.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, an affiliate or referral commission is not a separate fee charged by Ready for Remedy to you.

Where a material relationship affects a recommendation we make, we will disclose it near that recommendation. Additional information appears in our Affiliate Disclosure, and you can ask us what the relationship is before you decide.

12. Disclaimers

The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, for general informational and educational purposes. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ready for Remedy disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, such as warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and completeness.

We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any content will be current, complete, or applicable to your circumstances. Educational content can fall out of date as rules and situations change, and we are under no obligation to update it on any particular schedule.

Reliance on Website content is at your own risk. We are not responsible for decisions you make or actions you take based on the Website or on a provider’s services.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ready for Remedy and its owners, operators, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible loss, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of the Website, your use of any service offered through it, or your reliance on its content or on any provider we introduce you to.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ready for Remedy’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Website or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount actually paid by you directly to Ready for Remedy during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or (b) $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ready for Remedy and its owners, operators, and contributors from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and costs, along with reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to your misuse of the Website, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.

We reserve the right, at our expense, to assume control of the defense and settlement of any matter that would otherwise fall under this section. If we do, you agree to cooperate with us, and we will not settle a claim in a way that imposes liability on you without your consent.

15. Termination and Access

We may restrict, suspend, or end your access to the Website or to any service offered through it at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have abused the Website, violated these Terms, or used it in an unlawful way, or if we need to do so to protect the security or operation of the Website or the privacy of other users.

Provisions that by their nature should survive a restriction or termination will survive. Those are Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Disputes, and Entire Agreement.

16. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Please read it before you submit information through any form.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Website, our services, or our practices, or to meet legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Updated Terms apply prospectively from the effective date stated on the page. We may provide additional notice of material changes and may require renewed affirmative acceptance where appropriate. Changes will not retroactively alter rights or obligations relating to events that occurred before the revised Terms became effective unless the parties otherwise agree or applicable law permits. If you do not agree with an update, please stop using the Website. We encourage you to return to this page from time to time.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any applicable law requiring otherwise, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought in a state court of competent jurisdiction serving Cass County, Texas, or, where federal subject-matter jurisdiction exists, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts to the extent permitted by law.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be treated as a waiver of it. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any policy or agreement expressly incorporated into a specific Ready for Remedy transaction, constitute the agreement between you and Ready for Remedy concerning the Website and the services covered by these Terms and supersede prior or contemporaneous understandings concerning the same subject matter.

If a separate agreement applies to a specific engagement with a provider, that agreement is between you and the provider. It is not part of the agreement between you and Ready for Remedy.
